The vacuum sensor detects the vacuum level required for proper suction cup operation. If the minimum value is not reached, the suction cup will remain in its initial position to prevent damage to the work piece and the system.
Added value with IO-Link
If the vacuum sensor has to be replaced, its setup parameters can be automatically copied to the new sensor via IO-Link, saving time and preventing incorrect switching point settings. The vacuum sensor can be used as a switch or send analog values via IO-Link, so one sensor can handle both digital and analog applications, reducing inventory requirements.
